Thomas and Sylvia Connors and three of their children; Jim, Christy and baby Mary, tragically lost their lives in the blaze at a halting site on the Glenamuck Road on Saturday October 10th.

Two of the Connors' children Michael and Thomas survived the fire.

The burials will take place in Co. Wexford tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a group representing the Traveller and Roma community has expressed its shock at the temporary accommodation arrangements for survivors of the Carrickmines fire in south county Dublin.

Yesterday evening, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council said a temporary halting site will be put in place at a carpark on council land near the Ballyogan Works Depot.

However, the local authority has described the site as 'not ideal' as there is no access to proper sewage facilities.

Pavee Point says it is shocking that bereaved Traveller families will be accommodated at a site that is described as not suitable.
