Fianna Fáil/Fine Gael coalition on the cards

We could be set for a Fianna Fail and Fine Gael coalition following the next election. 

According to the Sunday Independent, pressure is growing on party leaders Enda Kenny and Micheál Martin to form an alliance.

While the paper says the Taoiseach's supporters have warned that unless support for the Fine Gael party increases, he'll face a leadership challenge.

Opinion polls predict they'll lose between 30 and 50 seats in an election. 

A number of high profile TDs from both parties have reportedly expressed interest in a possible Fianna Fail/Fine Gael coalition.
