Planning permission has been granted to develop a cafe – restaurant and tourist information centre on the ground floor.

The upper floors will be used for community and cultural use while a two bedroom holiday apartment is also part of the plans for the upper floors.

The Fethard and Killusty Muintir Council are behind the plans for the building on Main Street.

Fethard Town Hall is a Protected Structure and National Monument – it was used for some of the scenes in the movie Stella Days which starred Martin Sheen.
