Fears for future of South Tipperary bus route.

There has been speculation that the Cork – Kilkenny service which has stops in Clogheen, Ballyporeen and Ardfinnan could be curtailed.

Bus Eireann say they are currently reviewing the route though no decision has been made but Clonmel Mayor Martin Lonergan is calling for clarity on the matter.

He says many locals use the service to travel to Clonmel or Mitchelstown while it is also used to attend hospital appointments in Clonmel or Cork.
