The village of Littleton is devastated this lunchtime after an early morning fire claimed the lives of 2 people.
The fire broke out at a house in the village, close to the National school in the early hours of this morning.

Neighbours raised the alarm and attempted to rescue the occupants who are understood to be a father and son and are well known in the locality.
They have not yet been named.
An investigation in to the cause of the fire is now underway.
