The incident on the N24 Inner Relief road in the town was discovered shortly before 7am this morning.
This single vehicle crash on the Clonmel bypass happened between the Cahir Road roundabout and the Cashel Road roundabout overnight.

Emergency services including Gardaí and ambulance personnel attended the scene shortly before 7am this morning.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is closed in both directions to allow for a forensic examination to take place and will remain shut for a number of hours.
Diversions are in place through Clonmel town centre.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have travelled the route between 12 midnight and 7am this morning to contact them.
