Built at a cost of 35 thousand euro under the Design and Dignity Grants fund it facilities people who's loved ones are gravely ill, near the end of life and for families of the bereaved.
It contains tea and coffee making facilities, a couch, armchairs and a pull out bed if an overnight stay is required and is one of 11 such projects in hospitals nationwide.

The Nenagh room will be opened by Tipperary Native and acclaimed Irish designer Louise Kennedy who's father was treated at the hospital.
