Drivers in Tipperary are being warned to expect to meet Gardaí across the county this Christmas.
Thousands will take to the roads to spend the festive season with family with long delays expected on many routes.

Motorists are being urged to ensure they allow enough time for their journeys, check their tyres and remain alert.
The Christmas Road Safety Campaign is well underway across the country and Garda Niamh Dooley of the Cahir Traffic Corp says that they will be out in force across Tipperary.
Their campaign began at the end of November and Gardai will be mounting extra checkpoints right throughout Christmas with a focus on mandatory alcohol testing.
