The HSE's taken steps to ease chronic overcrowding at South Tipp General.
A dozen beds will be opened at Our Lady's in Cashel for patients who are ready to be moved out of acute care but require ongoing treatment.

The lack of such beds to date has attributed to serious congestion at the A&E in Clonmel with the figures in the high twenties in recent weeks.
Labour Councillor Seanie Lonergan who received the good news from the HSE says the extra beds will make a huge difference.
