Extra Special Education classes sanctioned for Tipperary

Four extra Special Education Needs Classes have been sanctioned for Tipperary

It means the Premier county will have 13 additional S-E-N classes for the coming school year 2025 to -26.

Following last week’s announcement of seven new Special Classes at Post-Primary level for Tipperary, this week sees Ballyporeen National School, Nenagh CBS Primary School. St. Joseph’s CBS in Nenagh and St. Michael’s J.B.S. join the list.

Overall, Minister for Education Helen McEntee has announced 292 new Special Classes across the country, with the intention of reaching a target of 400 classes.
