Engines stolen from Search & Rescue Unit

The pair of Evinrude 90 horsepower outboard motors were taken sometime between 9pm on Wednesday February 29th and 9 o'clock last night.

The boat was tied up at the Derg Marina in Ballina having been used on a training exercise on the 29th.

They engines were discovered missing last night – they could cost up to €15,000 each to replace.

Any information on the two stolen engines can be given to Killaloe Garda Station on 061 620 540.
