The Taoiseach says he will not be asking the Moriarty Tribunal if it had already examined the money referred to in the so-called Lowry tapes.

A recording of North Tipperary Deputy Michael Lowry discussing a sum of quarter of a million pounds sterling has surfaced since the tribunal issued its final report.

Dublin South East Labour Party TD Kevin Humphreys says the Government should ask the inquiry if the money had already been known to them.

However Enda Kenny say he wouldn't reopen the tribunal to deal with the issue.
