Enda Kenny draws up list of potential female election candidates

Under new gender quotas, Fine Gael must run at least a dozen extra female candidates when the government go to the country in 2016. 

Failure to do so will cost the party up to 2 million euro.

It comes as Enda Kenny is dismissing claims that he could be replaced as Fine Gael leader before the next election.

The Taoiseach's told reporters he's going nowhere – and he's preparing to lead his party AND Labour back into government.
