General Secretary Pat Smith resigned amid controversy over his salary, which was over €500,000 a year.
Members heading into the meeting said that farmers on the ground were shocked by the pay levels exposed.

A pension package is being negotiated at the moment for Mr Smith – with reports that it could be worth €2 million.
With a lot of anger from farmers and multiple motions on the table for today's meeting – it's expected to be a long one.
