The Lough Derg RNLI was called into action to assist those on board a cruiser which got into difficulty on the lake.
The alarm was raised at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon when a 30 foot cruiser suffered electrical failure in Youghal Bay off Garrykennedy.
There were 2 people on board the vessel which was taken in tow by the lifeboat and brought safely to Garrykennedy Harbour.
