A walker was airlifted to hospital after a fall on the hills overlooking the town yesterday.
The man is understood to have suffered a broken femur in the incident near the Holy Year Cross.
The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association and the Rescue 117 helicopter came to the mans aid.
It’s understood a paramedic was injured in the rescue operation.
