The blaze at a home off the N-62 near Pouldine between Thurles and the Horse & Jockey was reported about 11 o’clock.
No injuries are being reported at this stage and Tipp FM News understands that the occupants of the house were able to safely evacuate and call 999.

Two fire engines and two water tankers are currently on the scene along with local Gardaí.
It’s not yet known when they expect to bring the fire under control.
