Dan Harty from Sinn Fein, Iva Pocock from the Green Party and Peter Madden from the Irish Peoples Party discussed their policies and manifestos and debated topics which are proving important in this General election campaign.

The state of democracy, immigration, climate, disability & health and the controversial Shannon Pipeline were all examined in often fiery exchanges.

On the issue of policy, Dan Harty defended Sinn Fein’s policy on immigration, Peter Madden defended accusations of being far right while Iva Pocock defended the Green’s performance on climate.

On the matter of the Shannon pipeline, all agreed that it was not a project that would benefit Tipperary

Tomorrow’s 7th and final debate takes place live from Nenagh with Independents Justin Phelan and Liam Minehan and Francis O’Toole from Aontú.
