A 34-year-old woman's being treated in hospital for injuries. Police in Cairns say they are not looking for anyone else.
The victims range in age from 18 months to 15 years.

Detective Inspector Bruno Asnicar says the investigation is very upsetting for officers.
“This is certainly a tragic and traumatic event with so many people deceased in one place – and it's right up there with one of the most serious things that I've ever had to deal with” he added.
