The fight to keep the country's main airports open at the start of the St. Patrick's weekend is going to the courts.
The DAA has been given leave by the High Court to seek an injunction against SIPTU which has organised a 4 hour work stoppage next Friday.

The case is likely to proceed on Monday.
Director of Public Affairs at the DAA – Paul O'Kane – says they had no choice but to take court action as they believe the strike is unlawful and contrary to the provisions of the Industrial Relations Act.
