Efforts are continuing to set up a Men’s Shed in Clonmel.

The Men’s Shed project has proven hugely successful across the Country, providing an opportunity for men over 60 to socialise and learn new skills.

It also provides an outlet for men to talk and is considered vital for the mental health of this particularly vulnerable age group.

Sean Callanan is leading the charge to set up a branch in Elm Park in Clonmel and speaking to Tipp Today, he says its needed in the community…
