27 Tipperary schools are among 477 nationwide aiming to be awarded a Green Flag for Travel.

This year’s theme of ‘Love our Health, Love our Planet’ was inspired by the challenge coinciding with Valentine’s Day on its final day.

Cappawhite National School were the overall winners in last year’s competition.

Winning schools in 2025 will receive cash prizes to be used for their Green-Schools Travel Programme.
