The development of a third level education campus on the Kickham Barracks site in Clonmel will bring welcome footfall to the town centre.
That’s according to Clonmel Borough District Administrator Carol Creighton.
With the Garda station also relocating to the former army barracks the area is getting a new lease of life.
Carol Creighton told Tipp Today earlier that the college would be a huge boost.
“We have plans underway for the college – that’s an integrated campus idea where TUS and the ETB will come together – and they will work together on the site and we’ll hopefully have more footfall and students coming through the plaza and then into the town centre.”
