Scoil Ailbe in Thurles has also been approved for a special class by Minister for Special Education Michael Moynihan.

North Tipp Fianna Fáil TD Ryan O’Meara says such facilities are key.

“These classes will further enhance our ability to meet the needs of students requiring additional support. Ensuring access to quality education for every child remains a top priority for me as a local TD. I will continue to work closely with local schools, families, the Department and my Fianna Fáil colleague Minister Moynihan to secure further investment in special education across North Tipperary.”
