Those leaving pre-school and starting primary school are being encouraged to visit their local library to pick up their bag.

While there they can take the opportunity to join the library as part of the My Little Library initiative.

Local Fine Gael TD Michael Murphy is encouraging parents to bring their children to the library to get their book bag.

They will be available shortly at all 12 libraries in the Premier County.
