An elevated dog bowl stand is being launched in Nenagh this afternoon.
It’s the work of 25 6th class pupils from Gaelscoil Aonach Urmhumhan as they take part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
Since its inception in 2010 the Enterprise Ireland backed scheme has given more than 120,000 primary school students an opportunity to set up their own business.
The Gaelscoil Aonach Urmhumhan pupils have set up “Drippy Dawg” with marketing, accounting and production departments.
Their teacher Máire De Loinge says the entire class has been able to get involved.
The Drippy Dawgs elevated dog bowls will be officially launched in Gaelscoil Aonach Urmhumhan with displays at 2pm and 5pm this afternoon.
