Councillor Siobhan Ambrose says talks have been had with both the bodies running third level courses locally.
She’s calling for TUS to invest in dedicated apartments for students at Kickham Barracks
The Technological University of the Shannon and Tipperary ETB are planning to build a shared third level campus there.
Cllr Ambrose says is important to try and ensure the plans include somewhere for the people studying there to live.
