Jobs boost for West Tipp

A local company is to create 20 new jobs in Cashel.

MYNET provide specialist monitoring services for security systems such as CCTV, Alarms and Access Control

They already employ 35 people – 21 are based in Tipperary – and the company also has a monitoring centre in South Africa.

The new jobs will be in Monitoring Operators, Operations Managers, IT infrastructure engineers, and administration staff.

Local County Councillor John O’Heney describes the announcement as fantastic news for the local economy saying it is very positive to see a company such as MYNET invest heavily in its Tipperary operation.
