Dromineer to benefit from Government funding

Crowds at Dromineer on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Dromineer in North Tipperary is set to benefit from a new 20 million euro project for outdoor water based activities.

The project will focus on the development of changing and showering facilities for beaches and lakes and will take place at 22 locations around the Country.

The aim is to have these facilities built by next Summer.

Minister Catherine Martin says they will be a big boost to areas where water-based activities are popular.
