A warning for heavy rain affecting Tipperary tonight has been updated by Met Éireann
Eight counties across the south east and Leinster including neighbouring counties Waterford, Kilkenny and Laois have been removed from the yellow alert initially issued for the whole country.
Tipperary though is still included from 10pm tonight until 7am on Monday morning.
The national forecaster says we can expect thundery downpours that could bring localised flooding, with poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
