Dole queue numbers in Tipperary have risen again.

This latest Live Register data shows there are currently 15,563 seeking some form of monthly unemployment benefit in the Premier County.

Collectively social welfare offices in North Tipp recorded the biggest rise – up 211 people on May – South Tipp’s numbers went up by 174.

However the Mid Tipp Town of Thurles was the worst affected with 2861 people on the dole queue there.

Clonmel is a close second on 2,811 while Nenagh's numbers now stand at 2783- up over 50 in the month.

All other areas experienced a double digit rise except for Cahir where just 2 extra people registered.

Overall its the second monthly climb in Tipperary – but when taken on a year by year basis – the numbers are down over 1,500 on June 2013.
