Dispute at St. James’ over parking space removal

300 spaces have been removed from the hospital's grounds to allow the new National Children's Hospital to be built.

However employees at St James are warning their safety is being endangered by the move.

Management say hospital staff can park in the nearby Kilmainham Hospital.

But Cliona O'Byrne, who is a Clinical Nurse Manager in St James' Emergency Department says on-site parking is an absolute necessity.
