Discount retailer to expand to Tipperary

Tipperary is set to benefit from some of the 300 jobs to be created by a planned expansion by discount retailer Dealz.

They have announced plans to open another 10 stores by the end of March next year.

They include outlets in Clonmel, Waterford and Louth.

One of the new shops will open this week in Mullingar, County Westmeath.

The company already has 9 shops across the country, and employs more than 300 people.

The Clonmel store is due to open by the end of the year.
