A disciplinary hearing against a Traffic Warden in Carrick on Suir has apparently been postponed.
The warden has been accused of writing inappropriate comments on the tickets that she was forced to issue to vehicles belonging to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service.
She wrote the words “under duress” on the tickets and said she was reluctant to issue the tickets as the vehicles were being used to take blood donations at the time.
A hearing into the matter was due to take place at the Town Hall in Carrick on Suir tomorrow morning – however this has now been postponed to a later date.
A Facebook campaign had been launched locally in a bid to organise a protest gathering outside the Town Hall to coincide with the hearing.
