Differing views on David Drumm’s planned Banking Inquiry evidence

The inquiry committee are getting legal advice on the proposal from the former Anglo Irish Bank boss, who's living in the US, but has been directed to attend the inquiry next Wednesday.

Earlier Sinn Fein finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty signalled the committee should consider the video link option.

But his Fianna Fail counterpart Michael McGrath is totally opposed, and says Mr Drumm must give evidence in person.
