The Dail's Committee on Members Interests has ruled that Deputy Michael Lowry  breached the Ethics in Public Office Act but says it was a minor matter and that the Tipperary TD had acted in good faith.

Deputy Luke “Ming” Flanagan lodged a complaint in relation to Michael Lowry's refrigeration company and lands at Gortnahoe following an article in the Sunday World.

Deputy Lowry has described the outcome from his perspective as very satisfactory.

He say he is delighted that what he describes as this most recent attempt by elements of the media to whip up a storm of unfounded suspicion has been dealt with by the Committee.
