A North Tipperary Councillor has expressed his disappointment at cuts in the allocation of Housing Grants for Tipperary for 2013.
Fianna Fail's John Carroll has expressed his concern at the cuts to the Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People & People with Disabilities which been cut from €1.2 million in 2012 to €425 thousand this year.
There is also a significant cut in the Social Housing Investment Programme, reduced from €3.7 million to €1.6 million.
Councillor Carroll says the cuts are disappointing as they affect people who cannot afford to build their own homes.
