Dimitris Avramopoulos says the barriers they've erected on the border with Serbia only divert migrants to other countries and escalate tensions.
“These are also difficult times for your neighbours – today's challenges are shared across Europe” he said.
“Passing on the refugee problem from one country to another is not a solution” he added.
