€16.3 million from the Department of Transport is to be spent on improving and repairing regional and local roads across the Premier County

The money includes a discretionary grant of €4 million euro along with €8.6 million to be used for restoration improvements

Councillor Fitzgerald says that there will not be enough money to fix all the roads that need work.
