Criticism of Capital Spending plan for lack of Tipp investment

The €27 billion to spent over the next five years targets a key infrasturctural projects across the country.

The highlight for Tipperary is the inclusion of the Shannon River Crossing for which 40 million euro has been allocated.

However the omission of a long awaited by-pass for Thurles and the progression of improvements on the N24 from Tipp Town towards Limerick has been criticised by Fianna Fail General election candidate Siobhán Ambrose.

The Clonmel-based Councillor says Dublin appear to have gained most from the plan.
