Gardai say a life has been saved after they prevented a gangland murder in South Dublin.
Two men in their 30s have been arrested after a loaded gun was found when officers stopped a van on the Kylemore Road in Ballyfermot last night.
It’s believed they are associates of the Kinahans and the murder attempt focused on internal operations within the gang.
The man believed to be the intended target had been warned there was a threat to his life.
