A Welsh national has been remanded in custody in connection with a significant drug seizure in the Glen of Aherlow.
Wesley Pause – with an address at Ballydavid, Cloghera, Rossadrehid – was arrested on Gladstone Street in Clonmel yesterday.
He appeared in court today charged possession of drugs and possession for sale or supply.
It followed the discovery of 112 cannabis plants with an estimated value of €90,000 at a property in Ballydavid last Wednesday
The 34 year old has been remanded to Limerick prison and is due to appear in court in Thurles next Tuesday.
