A man is due in court today in connection with a serious assault in Carrick on Suir over the weekend.
A man in his 50s required hospital treatment in the wake of the attack on Saturday.
Three men were subsequently arrested and detained in Clonmel Garda Station in relation to this incident.
A man in his 30 has been charged with Assault Causing Harm and will be brought Clonmel District Court today.
