The Minister for Foreign Affairs will meet with Britain’s BREXIT secretary in London today.

Simon Coveney now has special responsibility for dealing with the impact of the UK’s departure from the European Union following the cabinet reshuffle.

It’s expected they’ll discuss the failure to reach a deal at Stormont and how the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic will work once BREXIT kicks in.

Minister Coveney has previously stated Ireland’s unique position must be respected in any negotiations.
