Court hears several charged over Killenaule Aggravated Burglary may be arraigned in Nov

The case was up for mention in Clonmel today which heard a number of them may be arraigned next month.

All seven men – who range in age from 20 to 27 and all with addressses in Dublin were present at Clonmel Circuit Court today in connection with the  incident at the home of  Mark and Emma Corcoran and their three young daughters in Killenaule last November.

They are facing charges of aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, possession of a shotgun and a handgun for the purposes of  committing a crime, stealing a car in Kilkenny on the night of the raid and allegedly stealing the Corcoran's family car. 

The Book of Evidence – which consists of several boxes of file was served on the 7 last May and today the prosecution told the circuit court that a number of the accused may be arraigned at their next appearance.

The matter was then adjourned by consent until November 19th
