Ann Fennell with an address of 4 Monastary Gate Green, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 was before Dublin District Court on a number of charges, including 5 of making calls to the offices of Environment Minister Alan Kelly and Fine Gael's Noel Coonan.
Under legislation, the sending or making of a threatening or menacing call is illegal under Section 13 of the Post Office (Amendment) Act 1951
Ann Fennell is facing a number of charges in relation to calls made to several public representatives and other public offices.
Three of the charges relate to calls made to Environment Minister Alan Kelly's office while 2 relate to the office of Fine Gael's Noel Coonan.
Ms Fennell was remanded on bail to appear again before the courts on the 29th of May where the book of evidence in the case should be served.
The 57 year old has a number of conditions attached to her bail, including providing Gardaí with a phone number that she is contactable at all times, signing on at her local Garda station and she is prohibited from making any contact with the houses of the Oireachtas or any public representative.
