Court appearance in connection with Cahir arson attacks.

A teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with a spate of crimes in Cahir.

The incidents happened on Wednesday night last – a car was set alight outside a nursing home on the Cashel Road while a storage shed at St Paul's Church was also the target of an arson attack.

A short time later damage was caused to the Duneske Leisure Centre while a community house was broken into in the Barnora estate.

A 19 year old Polish national was arrested on Saturday and has appeared in court.

Przemyslaw  Krac – who previously lived in Cahir but now has an address at Scalagheen in Tipperary Town –  has been remanded on bail.
