Councillors have asked for a detailed long term action plan for flood-prone areas and the cost of carrying out the works required to prevent future flooding before meeting with concerned residents.

Cathaoirleach of the Thurles-Templemore municipal district, Fianna Fail's John Hogan says they have to have the information to give to the public before a special meeting.
