Council hears call for public meeting on North Tipp health services.

There have been calls for a public meeting on the lack of health services in North Tipperary.

Councillor Seamie Morris made the appeal at this weeks meeting of the local authority.

He said that the Mid West Regional Hospital in Limerick is a disaster zone because of the HSE moratorium on staff.

He says a public meeting needs to take place in order to address the severe lack of health services affecting people right across North Tipp.
