An influx of posters have appeared across the county in preparation for the local and European elections later this month.

At a recent meeting of the local authority in Nenagh, councillors debated the promotional material with some saying that they have become a necessary part of elections.
Fianna Fail councillor Seamus Hannafin says he would much rather have no posters whatsover.
